Just some random, unrelated tips and tricks…
Place some dryer sheets in your shoes, keeps em from getting all stinky.
Cover up scratches on your wood floor with a little stain.
Do you have a bunch of pretty serving platters and bowls languishing in your cupboards because the last time you entertained Bush Sr was in office? Enjoy them with every day use… To hold onions, as a candy bowl, as a landing spot in the entryway (keys will scratch so don’t use your precious delicate heirloom there) or to display a vignette or collection of perfume bottles on top of the dresser, under your “leaky and/or drippy” items (olive oil) on the countertop or in the pantry.
Keep several microfiber cloths on hand for dusting, do a little dusting every day before it gets out of hand. Got dust in a hard to dust place, compressed air is your friend (the same one you use for your keyboard).
Messy pantry or broom closet? Lowes has a ton of cool stuff to organize including strips to hang your mops/brooms or expandable wire shelves to go vertical in your pantry.
Got less than 10 bucks to spend on a new picture frame? Ross Dress for Less.
Tired of cleaning the space above the kitchen cabinets? Line with newspaper, replace as needed.
Printer getting dusty (I live in Kihei, if you’re noticing a dusty house theme)? If you only use your printer sporadically and don’t have a cover for it, keep it turned off when not in use and cover it with a scarf.
