Love T’s? StyleMint’s got you covered…
StyleMint offers exclusive Ts designed by Mary Kate and Ashley Olson and these are no ordinary Ts. Made in the USA, the fabrics are soft and each T has a unique design element.
Here’s a sampling…clockwise, starting from the top left
This Hudson long sleeve gives you a layered look without all the bulk; the ivory piece is fitted while the rest of the piece is comfortably loose. I have this shirt in the mushroom/ivory pictured here and also in the black/grey offered. I wear it with skinnies or my slouchy skinnies. I sometimes add a long necklace and a casual scarf (great outfit for a chilly theatre).
The Albany has a deep scoop with flared cropped sleeves. I have it in charcoal and love how they sewed a seam up the back, made for a very flattering fit. Love this army green color too.
The Broadway is the quintessential Parisian striped T. I don’t have this particular T…yet. There is also a dress version and it also comes in red stripes.
The Rush had me at polka dot. It has fitted sleeves, a swingy body and a sharktail hem. It looks great with an architectural maxi skirt, cutoffs or skinnies.
The Harlem is a brand new style with a see thru peek a boo back and also comes in white.
I don’t have this Benson Waterfall Cardi but always take a admiring peek when I’m on their site.
How it works…
StyleMint works like a book of the month club. You register on their site and once you make your first purchase, you choose to either buy, get a credit or skip a month each month thereafter. If you skip the month, you don’t get charged but you must elect this option online in the first five days of the month or you’ll be charged and receive a credit to use when you’re ready. A T costs one credit or $29.99.
You choose which T you want and shipping is free. You can opt to buy more than one T if you’d like. They also carry other special items like cashmere sweaters, cardis, dresses and leggings (some of which cost more than one credit).
Other than loving the Ts, what I like most about StyleMint is…
The styling tips located on the left side of each product page. Perfect examples of how a T can be styled to fit any personality, trend or wardrobe.
The videos, also located on the product page or you can watch on their YouTube channel. Watching the videos has helped me figure out which styles would work best for me or to determine what size I’ll need.
They encourage StyleMint members to send in pics wearing their Ts and include them on their site, blog and facebook page.
The blog is awesome, a must visit all on it’s own.
The Ts are a modern or contemporary fit. There are certain styles which are fitted and those that are looser in the body. I’ve fit in mostly size 1 as I prefer the loose body styles and the occasional size 2 or 3 in the fitted styles (I’ve also been fine with a 2 when a 1 wasn’t available). I’m petite (5’1″ small boned with narrow shoulders) but not skinny or even in shape right now (buddha belly). I’ve gained 30 cupcakes since moving back to Maui No Ka Oi and am definitely on the curvier side of the spectrum (~140 lbs).
