A little ado about nothing in particular…
I love the Gap, especially their body line. The loungewear and tanks are so soft and comfy. They carry petites (online) which makes me say woo hoo since I’m only 5’1″. But what I love most about the Gap? The great photo visual displays never disappoint.
Martha Stewart’s line for Macy’s is always oh so tempting. Like this cupcake plate with bird dome.
I often carry big girl shoes in the car just in case I need to gussy up a bit. Rolling up the baggy jeans and throwing on some wedges can make a world of difference (or at least 5 inches worth).
I like to pull over on the way home from work and take a picture of the sky. I never tire of the contrast of blue against the clouds or of the light peeking through. This shot was taken off of Mokulele Highway, by the Humane Society.
Now for the confessions…
I haven’t taken down my holiday decorations yet.
I haven’t mailed my sister and brother in law’s Christmas gifts yet (they decided not to come to Maui at the last moment but you would think a full month would be enough time for me to throw a few gifts in a box and mail it to Honolulu). Did I mention the post office is right next door to my day job?
This was supposed to be a post about Style Mint but I wasn’t in the mood, decided on this melting pot of random bits instead. It’s a little like being in my head…being MauiShopGirl…my right brain tends to wander from here to there and back again until my left brain says very sternly, “girl, you need to FOCUS”.
Stay tuned tomorrow for my review of Style Mint…
