This past Saturday, my small space was turned into a photography studio slash fabulous holiday cocktail party. It was a busy day but I managed to sneak in a few snapshots during the staging to share with you.
I recently met Sue Hudelson, a photographer whose work I absolutely love. Her photos are artistic and modern with the occasional touch of quirky. She is gearing up for the holiday season and in home portraits are one of her specialities. This Saturday, I was her model with my small space as the backdrop.
Beautiful ornaments, different color trees, gold reindeer and wrought iron snowman from Kim’s collection put us in the holiday spirit while paper stars handmade by Kathy gave a nod to my German heritage.
Sue helped me select and style a few outfits from my own wardrobe and costume jewelry collection. One dress was a fitted faux wrap jersey dress while the other dress was a lace shift with a retro midcentury feel.
Stay tuned for the reveal of my in home portrait!
