I started following Ihilani’s blog, SoPupuka, in my efforts to get to know my fellow Hawaii bloggers and I discovered a talented Maui mama who is musical, studies other languages (including Hawaiian) and is beautifully introspective. She is a lifestyle blogger like me and will occasionally throw in a personal essay type of post that always makes me think about my own life in an honest yet positive way.
Ihilani also enjoys digital art and creates beautiful eco-friendly cards which she showcases in her Etsy store…
I love the berry tones and vintage weathered look in this “You’re the Best” card.
Who doesn’t love gazing up at a row of coconut trees? Ihilani has captured one of my favorite images in lemony yellow and blue greens.
I’ve never been on this particular boardwalk in Kealia, a National Wildlife Refuge, but this pretty card and the photo on Ihilani’s blog that the design was based on has convinced me to add this walk to my Maui bucket list.
Say Happy Valentine’s Day to your honey with pretty pastels and “I love you” in Hawaiian.
