I love wrapping presents. There used to be a time, not so long ago, when I could take vacay the entire week of Christmas. I would spend my days wrapping and listening to my Carpenters or Mariah Carey Christmas cds. In the evenings, I would attend each game of the Rainbow Classics Bball tourney wearing my Santa hat. It was all Christmas all the time, with a little zone thrown in. I was one happy chick belting out Jingle Bells and Merry Christmas Darling with my captive canine audience looking on. One of the things I especially enjoyed was hunting down ornaments or other cute objects to decorate my gifts. To me, the wrapping wasn’t complete without a special trinket or keepsake attached.
So, I was thrilled to discover mstetson design’s pop up etsy shop and its clay polymer tags stamped with a holiday message in a great font.
Lindsey Stetson Thompson is a graphic designer with a love of all things design. This love shows in her adorable tags as well as her blog (I’ve found a new favorite blog to visit!). The above pic shows her reindeer collection set…on dancer, prancer… I also love customizing plain brown kraft paper with ribbon, string, wrapping paper pieces and special tags as Lindsey has done here. Kraft paper can be found in the packing/shipping section of office supply stores.
Lindsey even offers customized tags including the above merry set with an initial of your choosing. Her advent set would be perfect for attaching to a display of mini wrapped presents to be opened each day, a fun spin on the advent calendar. Or pinned to a cork board in the shape of a tree as displayed here.
These tags are reusable and would look lovely as ornaments on a mini tree.
