In the past few years, I’ve collected enough quirky tea towels to fill a small drawer in my kitchen and I’ve noticed my consumption of paper towels has decreased quite a bit. I’ve decided it’s time to add cloth napkins to my casa. As usual, Etsy did not disappoint in my search. The only problem? I can’t decide between all the gorgeous options. Soft organic cottons, pretty block prints and typography that will all bring a smile to my face at mealtime. What’s a girl gonna do?
This sarsparilla print caught my eye immediately, a modern print with a touch of whimsey and the outdoors. These napkins were made by Q of JAQS studio. She is a self described fabric-holic and when she’s not sewing, she also writes a great blog for you crafty types.
I was drooling all over my keyboard as I browsed Julie Malone’s shop, Julie Peach. This beautiful magenta chrysanthemums block print was made with her custom linocut and hand sewn by Julie.
Since I love to read and write, a word worth a thousand emotions says it all for me. These khaki napkins adorned with yum screams homemade brunch to me, a precursor of a meal to be enjoyed by all. Made by Alice Hutchinson by LaFamille at Home.
Organic cotton napkins and towels in simple yet captivating prints are the specialty of Oh, Little Rabbit. I love the birch print in blue. It reminds me of that wonderful tree wallpaper I always see on design blogs.
