This West Elm industrial pendant light would bring a needed touch of vintage to a modern kitchen, perfect over a kitchen island.
My favorite specialty coffee drink is the dirty chai from Honolulu Coffee at the Shops at Wailea. A chai latte with a shot (or two) of expresso is a delicious way to kickstart your day. I’ve started to make my own version at home:
– 1/2 cup Tazo chai concentrate from Starbucks (you can also find boxed chai concentrate in a variety of brands at Safeway in Kihei)
– 1/2 cup almond milk
– lots of ice
– a shot of bold expresso
Stir, stir, stir
I’m loving this spiked and pave renegade bracelet from Stella & Dot. I definitely want this bracelet in my jewelry box but am experiencing decision anxiety…gold plated or silver bronze? The link takes you to my friend’s (Angie Meyer) online Stella & Dot shop. Angie is a beautiful girl, inside and out. She worked at Prada with me in Honolulu and is now a nursing tech and a proud mama to the cutest little boy in Illinois.
Rebecca Minkoff has gained a cult following with her modern, edgy and oh so practical handbag line. One could say once you go Minkoff, you go back, repeatedly. On a trip to Vegas to attend the Magic Show (retail trade show, my idea of a good time), I was standing in the 7 For All Mankind shop holding six Minkoff bags wishing I had brought a larger suitcase (talk about decision anxiety!). Her line of clutch bags which can be worn three ways (clutch, crossbody or shoulder) are roomy, soft and always have a lovely print surprise on the lining. This Tri-Zip Clutch is my idea of the perfect bag. A mix of my favorite leather color, taupe grey, and gold hardware is both versatile and gorgeous. Rebecca Minkoff has also become one of my favorite instagrammers…cool shots of her travel, days out and Minkoff sightings. I would love to interview her for MauiShopGirl; a blogger can dream, right?
