I first saw the gold dipped druzy ring by Hula Hoops Maui on the instagram feed of one of my favorite Maui boutiques, Nuage Bleu in Paia. I love the chunky organic shape and the contrast of the gold against the white. I’ve been lusting after this ring for awhile now and sadly it’s currently sold out. I’m crossing my fingers (and my toes) that Hula Hoops creates more of these beauties.
There’s been a ton of chatter on the beauty blog beat about BB Creams. BB Creams have been popular in Asia for years and are marketed as being soothing while serving multiple skin care needs including coverage, moisture, primer and sunblock. Several brands in the US have started to sell their own version of the BB Cream including this one called the Miracle Skin Perfector by Garnier. I bought the medium light from Longs and am loving it so far. The cream provides more moisture to my dry skin than my usual tinted moisturizer in a higher priced brand. My skin also has a smoother appearance. I wear the cream alone as a tinted moisturizer or if I need a bit more coverage I use it as a primer and add my regular foundation over my sun damaged areas.
