We really have to go to tea, don't we? I can't wait to see you! I know we met when we were maybe teenagers but I don't remember for sure. I just remember a million springer spaniels, lots of cheese, gravy and biscuits and grandma yelling for me to stay away from the pond. It bugs me that I can't remember what you all looked like on the last trip (1984) to Ohio.

Two weeks isn't too bad as long as you don't have too much dry cleaning right? I've been thinking a lot about how much do I really need lately. Like if I lost it all and had to replace what would I really buy and I don't think I'd do more than two weeks. I think for me now, if I look at what I really wear, I'm probably only wearing two weeks of clothes over and over. I just still have so much that no longer fits my lifestyle or current size.

I know what you mean about color! I've gone through phases, even bought pink and green Lily Pulitzer and Polo cable sweaters (for real, pink and green!). But I always return to black. I've now realized that mixing in charcoal (silver is no good on me) and army green are also favorites. If you don't like color as much in clothes, don't let anyone tell you that's what you should do or dress your kids in color :-) You could also do color in accessories. I never buy black wallets for example, usually indulge in happy colors. Especially once you have your wardrobe in neutral, it's easier to have a bag in a non-neutral color that goes with a lot of your neutral wardrobe. I have this dark grape bag that is great with my army or charcoal or black. Or...if you like color and want color, decide on your neutral base first and then determine what colors mix and match well with that base. The thing I learned about watching the EF videos on youtube is that they have basic underpieces (dresses/skirts/tanks) that they repeat and layer with a different top over the base. Check out the videos, it's interesting. I'd never go head to toe EF but I learned a lot by looking at their system.

I guess maybe they're thinking the glass pitcher types would already have a on-tap filtration system ;-) I definitely would've bought this product earlier if it had been available, really hated my Brita. I usually always prefer glass over plastic but I know for families with young kids, glass can be tough (or not so tough, literally).

I can't believe companies would still be so stupid seeing this, and NOT come out with a glass pitcher. I mean how hard can it be? A GLASS PITCHER. Arg.
