Here’s another roundup of gifts I love for the Buy Local Holiday Challenge!
Fighting Eel’s Resort 2011 collection is out just in time for the holidays and I love it all! So will the lucky girl on your shopping list. Buy at their online store, Nuage Bleu in Paia or head over to their Oahu store on Bethel Street.
Goodies from Big Island Cookies are so ono. For the holidays, they do a wide assortment of beautifully presented gift packs. Everything is delicious but my favorite treats are the dark chocolate dipped shortbread cookies and the brownies.
I still remember my first Katrina Cordova piece, a gold chain with an assortment of petite charms including a pink stone and a little gold buddha. It quickly became one of my go to necklaces. See a listing of boutiques which carry Katrina Cordova on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island here.
Monica and Michael Sweet are amazing Maui photographers. I love that their work is varied, from beautiful sunny and tranquil beach scenes to ocean life to darker artistic pieces. Visit Pictures Plus or the Sweet’s online site to purchase.
This origami book has instructions for making sea creatures like jelly fish and honu! Published by Hawaii publisher, Mutual Publishing, you can buy at their online site or at Walmart Kahului (near the origami paper in the “Celebrate” department).
Maui Brand’s turbinado in the 1 lb size is back! My relatives on the mainland love receiving this flavorful sugar from the last sugar plantation in Hawaii. Also makes a wonderful addition to a gift basket. You can purchase from HC&S’s offices in Pu’unene or Cash n’ Carry in Wailuku.
I am employed by HC&S but enjoyed their turbinado sugar long before I returned home to Maui. The opinions in this personal blog are my own, non-sponsored and sincere.
