On Sunday, I wrote about my quest for the perfect everyday DSLR bag which would satisfy my desire for great design and function. Although I wrote about the Venice by Ona, I decided on their Brooklyn bag instead which comes in black and chestnut. I’ve always loved a schoolgirl satchel (Mulberry, Proenza Schouler and Miu Miu have all done satchels that I’d happily invite back my walk-in) and I love its namesake, Brooklyn. When I first began browsing Ona’s site, I mistakenly thought the Brooklyn was a big messenger bag but after googling blogs, browsing twitter pics and taking a closer look at the product info I realized it is the cutest mid-sized satchel. I went with the chestnut because although I’m a skull and hard rock loving chick most of the time, I feel certain brown leathers are so versatile and add more interest to your outfit than a constant sea of black. My most worn outfits usually involve an army green baggy chino or jeans with a worn brown belt and a grey or black T so the chestnut bag will go very nicely. Brown leather also gets yummier with age.
My only complaint? I paid quite a bit for shipping…one of the downsides of living in paradise.
