Obsessed with Gilt…Workspace

by Tania Ginoza on January 14, 2013 · 8 comments

Like many, I was initially drawn to Gilt for the apparel and accessories. As I scan my closet I spy Rebecca Minkoff bags, Current Elliott boyfriend jeans and Chan Luu wrap bracelets, all purchased on the popular flash site. Today, I prefer to spend my gilty time in the home and gift categories. Bold graffiti art, a ceramic garden stool and the modern white vase where my flowerless orchid plant resides are just a few well loved pieces in my hale.

Current home sales are focused on small spaces, luxury bedding and the work space.  Here’s my picks for a tempting assortment of items that serve the desire for both form and function in a creative space.

So pretty! I have a fairly small work space, but it is part of my husband’s office. I would love to fancy it up. I’ll have to check it out. :-)

Mine is the corner of my bedroom :-) But I do have my own desk that only I use so it’s all good. The only time I dream of a big studio space is during Christmas as I get tired of taking all my paper craft supplies in and out of the closet every time I want to make something. It’s those days I dream of a “Martha Stewart” setup with the wrapping station, huge farm table and all that.

You might like the things on King’s Lane too, they often have accessories that are perfect for anywhere including the office. I prefer no office max stuff if I can, opting instead for pretty bowls, boxes, baskets and mugs for storage.

I love perusing design sites like Gilt for oddities such as home decor. So fun. Love the large metal stencil!

I love the stencil too. It is separate pieces so you could make different words etc if you’d like to hang them on the wall or a mood board.

I love this space and the white granite desk top! Love your luxury ideas too : )

I will be back once I find my workspace’s good side!

Thanks Ann, I’m looking forward to a peek at your space. One of the reasons I chose this prompt is I love seeing where other people, draw, write, sew or craft.
